OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Christopher Michael Honey, 21, of Olive Branch died Saturday, June 25, 2005 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born Nov. 8, 1983, at St. Louis, son of Kent and Sherry Kain Honey. He graduated with honors in 2002 from Egyptian High School, where he played baseball and basketball. He worked as a pharmacy technician at Southeast Missouri Hospital and had just graduated in May from the Southeast Missouri Police Academy...

OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Christopher Michael Honey, 21, of Olive Branch died Saturday, June 25, 2005 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Nov. 8, 1983, at St. Louis, son of Kent and Sherry Kain Honey.

He graduated with honors in 2002 from Egyptian High School, where he played baseball and basketball. He worked as a pharmacy technician at Southeast Missouri Hospital and had just graduated in May from the Southeast Missouri Police Academy.

Survivors include his parents, Kent and Sherry Honey of Olive Branch; two sisters, Sara and Jennifer Honey of Olive Branch; grandparents, Judy and Paul Pittman of Olive Branch, Paul and Joan Honey of Carterville, Ill., Vickie Kain of Cobden, Ill., Glenn and Sheryl Kain of Fruitland, Mo.; great-grandmother Mildred Honey of Tamms, Ill.; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Christopher Michael Honey will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms, with Rev. Larry Buckles officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and on Wednesday until time of services at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Egyptian School Athletic Department. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.crainsonline.com.
