PERRYVILLE -- Christine M. Tucker, 78, of Perryville, died Sunday, Sept. 12, 1993, at the Perry County Memorial Hospital.
She was born may 8, 1915, at Minnith, Mo., daughter of Wesley and Alice Vernon Starkey.
She married Leon "Coonie" Tucker, July 8, 1936. He died Nov. 24, 1966.
Tucker worked as a seamstress at the Farmington Factory Slacks Outlet.
She was a member of the Faith Creation Christian Center.
Survivors include two sons, James Tucker of Brighton, Ill., Richard Tucker of Perryville; three daughters, Carol Lang of Walls, Miss., Susan Fuytinch and Rose Wingerter, both of Perryville; two sisters, Dorothy Hardesty of Fredericktown, Mo., Mary Ward of Cape Girardeau; 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, a brother and a grandchild.
Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. today and from 6:30-10 a.m. Tuesday at the Young and Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Young and Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville, with the Rev. James Wamble officiating.
Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
