GIDEON, Mo. -- Chester Samuel "Shinner" Law, 91, of Gideon died Saturday, Aug. 14, 2004, at Gideon Care Center.
He was born Sept. 17, 1912, at Gideon, son of Harvey and Alice Struby Law.
Law was retired from Gideon-Anderson Co. He was a member of Living Word Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Survivors include a sister, Bertha Jobe of Gideon; two brothers, Willard "Bud" Law of Scott City, and Lloyd Law of Jackson.
Friends may call at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Gideon from 10 a.m. to service time today.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Brian Law officiating. Burial will be in Stanfield Cemetery.
