ANNA, Ill. -- Chester Dale Coder, 87, of Anna died Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011, at Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Marion, Ill.

He served in the U.S. Army and Air Force during World War II and the Korean conflict.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.

Graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at National Cemetery in Mound City, Ill. Military honors will be conducted by Illinois National Guard Funeral Honors Team of Marion and local area veterans groups.
