SIKESTON -- Charlotte Gale Humphreys, 53, of Sikeston, formerly of Cuba, Ill., died Saturday, Sept. 19, 1998, at her home.
She was born on April 4, 1945, at Hornwall, Tenn., daughter of Mable Browning Pollock Little of Tiptonville, Tenn., and the late Clester Pollock.
She had lived near Miner for the past two years, moving from Cuba.
She married Dan Howen, who preceded her in death. She married Floyd Wayne Humphreys on Sept. 29, 1972.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Daniel Howen of Sikeston; a daughter, Nanette Howen of Ipava, Ill.; two stepsons, Mark and Kevin Humphreys, both of Ripley, Tenn.; a stepdaughter, Cheryle Strianse of Ripley; three brothers; three sisters; three grandchildren; and nine step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two stepdaughters and a brother.
No funeral will be held. Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie was in charge of arrangements.
