VILLA RIDGE, Ill. -- Charley Logan, 83, of Villa Ridge, formerly of Olive Branch, Ill., died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2006, at his home.
Logan was born March 29, 1923, at Cary, Ky., son of Juluis and Mollie Pilkington Logan.
Logan retired from the U.S. Air Force as a staff sergeant.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Ann Kelleher Logan of Villa Ridge; three sons, Danny Charles Logan of Phoenix Ariz., Richard Juluis Logan of Hebron, Md., Olene David Logan of Villa Ridge; two daughters, Shirley May Price of Bastrop, Texas, Geraldine Faye "Gerry" Logan of Villa Ridge; 17 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Scott Kelley officiating. Interment will be in the Mound City National Cemetery with full military honors given by American Legion Post 178 of Villa Ridge, Cairo, Ill., VFW Post 2649 and Pulaski CountyVFW Post 8891.
