PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Charles Weinrich, 84, of Perryville died Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis. He was born June 23, 1931, in Longtown, Missouri, son of Rudolph W. and Esther A. Ochs Weinrich. He married Lorine M. Doering on May 12, 1956. She preceded him in death Aug. 18, 1990...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Charles Weinrich, 84, of Perryville died Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis.

He was born June 23, 1931, in Longtown, Missouri, son of Rudolph W. and Esther A. Ochs Weinrich.

He married Lorine M. Doering on May 12, 1956. She preceded him in death Aug. 18, 1990.

Charles was a farmer of livestock and agriculture. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was also a member of American Legion Post 133 and Perryville Eagles Lodge and loved to farm.

Survivors include one daughter and one son, Nancy (Glenn) Klump of St. Louis and Daniel Weinrich of Perryville; two brothers and one sister, Herbert (Ruth) Weinrich of Longtown, Alfred (Kathy) Weinrich of Noblesville, Indiana, and Marie Katt of Brazeau, Missouri; four grandchildren, Jeremy (Kayla) Klump and Amanda (Jesse) Ochs, all of Perryville, and Kristin (Stephen) Hayes and Zachary Klump, all of St. Louis; and five great-grandchildren, Trevor, Landon and Evan Ochs, Mia Hayes and Graham Klump.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; one baby brother, Milton; and one brother-in-law, Elmer Katt.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville, with the Rev. Thomas Handrick officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery, with a military graveside service provided by American Legion and Military Honors Team.

Memorials are preferred for Immanuel Lutheran School.
