SIKESTON -- Memorial service for Charles "Butch" Sissom of Sikeston will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Smith Street Church of God in Sikeston. The Rev. Larry Arnold will officiate.

There is no visitation.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Home at Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.

Sissom, 50, died Monday, Sept. 4, 1995, at his home.

He was born April 9, 1945, in St. Louis, son of Andrew and Lillian Seberg Sissom.

Sissom was a cab driver. He was a member of American Legion Post 114 and Eagles Aerie 4206.

Survivors include two sons, Charles and Chris Sissom of Morley; three half sisters, Lillie Curtis of Atlanta, Ga., Darlene Kellough and Geraloide Rodriguez of Woodland, Calif.; two stepbrothers, Norman Sissom of Sikeston, Allen Sisson of Woodland; two stepsisters, Helen Beeson of Sikeston and Virginia Steadman of Woodland.

He was preceded in death by a brother.
