PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Charles J. Pratte, 99, of Perryville died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2001, at Perry Oaks Manor. He was born April 2, 1901, at Minnith, Mo., son of John and Emma Zahner Pratte. He married Helen A. Riesenbeck, who died in December 1977. Pratte had been a firefighter, and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Charles J. Pratte, 99, of Perryville died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2001, at Perry Oaks Manor.

He was born April 2, 1901, at Minnith, Mo., son of John and Emma Zahner Pratte. He married Helen A. Riesenbeck, who died in December 1977.

Pratte had been a firefighter, and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors include a son, James Pratte of Florissant, Mo.; a brother, William Pratte of Perryville; a sister, Marie Rizzuto of St. Louis; a half brother, Donald Valleroy of St. Marys, Mo.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today, and Saturday from 6:30-9:50 a.m. The parish wake will be at 7 tonight.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent's Church. The Rev. Kevin P. Fausz will officiate. Burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery at St. Marys.
