Charles C. Oberndorfer, 80, of Frohna, Missouri, died Oct. 24, 2015, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Aug. 22, 1935, in Frohna to Hugo and Alida (Popp) Oberndorfer.
He and Iva Weber were married Nov. 5, 1955. She preceded him in death May 4, 1984. He and Flora E. Schuessler were married Aug. 24, 1985. She survives in Frohna.
He had been a truck driver for East Perry Lumber Company.
He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church and Men's Club in Frohna. He was a veteran of the National Guard.
Other survivors include two sons, Michael (Tina) Oberndorfer of Frohna and Jeffery (Angie) Oberndorfer of Altenburg, Missouri; one stepdaughter, Susan (Tim) Turner of Altenburg; one stepson, Michael (Tori) Schuessler of Frohna; four brothers, Harlin Oberndorfer of Altenburg, Gerald Oberndorfer and Gene Oberndorfer, both of Kansas City, Missouri, and Darwin Oberndorfer of Washington, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Jared (Amanda) Oberndorfer, Catie Oberndorfer, Chad (Melinda) Morrison, Jason Morrison, Cody Morrison, Tim Turner Jr., Mikayla Schuessler, Ethan Schuessler and Evan Schuessler; and three great-grandchildren, Ella Morrison, Baily Morrison and Lynna Oberndorfer.
He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna. Visitation will continue from 6:30 a.m. until time of service Wednesday.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Rod Benkendorf officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna.
