PATTON, Mo. -- Charles Moore, 67, of Patton died Friday, July 31, 2009, at his home.
He was born July 19, 1942, at Crocker, Mo., son of Kenneth and Pearl Best Moore. He and Peggy McGowan were married June 3, 1961, in Swedeborg, Mo. He and Sharon "Sherry" Henderson of Patton were married Dec. 21,1985, in Crocker.
Mr. Moore was foreman with Shadetree Service Co. in Fenton, Mo. After retiring he owned several businesses. He was a 27-year member of IBEW Local 702. He was an avid fisherman and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife; a son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Lisa Moore; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Rocky Tallent; an adopted daughter, Sabrina Moore, all of Patton; three stepchildren, Tina Stubbs, Tracy Coyle and Billy Coyle, all of Springfield, Ill.; three brothers, James Moore of Camdenton, Mo., Kenny Moore of Crocker, Leon Moore of St. Charles, Mo.; a sister, Donna Dake of St. Charles; 12 grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister-in-law, a niece and two stepchildren.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hilltop Christian Union Church in Crocker, with the Rev. Bill Claiborn officiating.
Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
