Charles McIntyre

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Charles V. McIntyre, 85, of Perryville died Monday, May 3, 2010, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

A veteran of World War II, he was a sergeant in the U.S. Army.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, and Thursday from 6:30 a.m. until time of service at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. An American Legion wake will be held at 6:30 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Don Estes officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Chester, Ill., with military honors to be conducted.
