DONGOLA, Ill. -- Charles Karraker, 96, of Dongola, died Tuesday, June 11, 1991, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

He was born Aug. 18, 1894, at Dongola, son of Randolph and Mary Louisa Lingle Karraker. He and Mabel Sullivan were married Sept. 25, 1915.

Karraker was a member of Christian Chapel Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Lowell Karraker of Dongola, Richard Karraker of Fairview Heights; two daughters, Marcella Kelley of Metropolis, Patricia Frye of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; 18 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sons and a daughter.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Crain Funeral Chapel here. A. Albert Reeves will officiate, with burial in Christian Chapel Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
