Charles Henry Jordon passed away at 10:10 a.m. June 12, 2021.

He was born June 22, 1934, to Trentis and Lydia Muster Jordon. He married M. Fae Green Jordon on June 18, 1955, at Patton Presbyterian Church.

Charles quit school after finishing the sixth grade to help support his family. At the age of 15, he started working at his father's gas station. When he turned 16, he went to work at the Handle factory in Jackson.

He then went into the United States Air Force for four years and received an honorable discharge. After the Air Force, he moved his family back to Missouri and started working for Hill-Behan Lumber Co. in 1959 and retired after 41 years.

In 2002, he started working at Hickory Hills Apartments for five years doing maintenance work. On June 18, 2021, Charles and Faye would have been married for 66 years, and June 22, 2021, he would have been 87 years old. He and Faye are members of the Cottage of Grace General Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Fae; daughters, Jenecce Fae (Jim) Davis of Marble Hill, Missouri, and Jenine Kay (William) Whitworth of O'Fallon, Missouri; brothers, Jim Jordon of Fairfield, Pennsylvania, Paul Jordon of Monahan's, Texas, and Walter (Grace) Jordon of Kansas; sisters, Wanda (Warner) Battson of Homestead, North Carolina and Mary Hartis of Cape Girardeau; sister-n-law, Monique Jordon of Farmington, Missouri; grandchildren, Bradley (Kendall) of Brighton, Illinois, Holly (Nick) Cuccio of Wentzville, Missouri, Matthew Davis of Bell City, Missouri, Nathan Davis of Centennial, Colorado, Jennifer and Aiden and grandson-in-law Tom Howes of O'Fallon; great grandchildren, Madelyn, Nicole, Shelby, Dylan, Danica, Kinsley Howes, Ava, Annie, Maggie Cuccio, Grace, Henry, Emily, Sonja Davis, Matthew Davis Jr, Loki Davis and Andrew Gile; and several cousins and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents; siblings, Ruth Moore, Albert Jordon, Willard Jordon, Edna May Jordon and Joyce Bauld; granddaughter, Kellie Howes; and great grandson, William Howes.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Randy Shrum and the Rev. Monnie Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Shriner's Hospital or Southeast Hospice.
