Charles Geiger, 82, 708 S. Benton, died Saturday, July 13, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born March 15, 1909, in Georgia, son of James and Mattie Geiger. He married Mary Barbie in 1941.
Geiger was a farm laborer.
Survivors include his wife of Junction City, Kan.; three sons, Charles Geiger Jr. of Ft. Leonard Wood, Clarence Geiger of Cape Girardeau, Claude Geiger of Columbia; six daughters, Mary Blanding, Barbara, Lillie, Edna and Lucille Geiger, Juanita Coleman, all of Junction City; 16 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, daughter, 20 brothers and sisters.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Rev. Johnny Thomas will officiate, with burial in Fairmount Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. Thursday.
