OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Charles Edward Fisher, 64, of Olive Branch, formerly of Tamms, Ill., died Monday, July 9, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Nov. 4, 1942, in Alexander County, Ill., son of Harry Earl and Gladys May Stephens Fisher. He married Margaret Dabbs.
Survivors include his wife, Maggie of Olive Branch; a son, Charles Edward Fisher Jr. of Arlington, Ky.; a daughter, Mary Ellen Fisher of Bowling Green, Ky.; a stepson, David Dabbs of Tamms; two sisters, Earlene Salmon and Thelma Irene Fisher of Olive Branch; two brothers, George Hudson Fisher of Olive Branch, Ray Eugene Fisher of Hardin, Ill.; five grandchildren; the mother of his children, Patricia Fisher of Barlow, Ky.; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Raymond Earl Fisher and Norman Rendal Fisher.
Visitation will be noon to service time Thursday at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jimmie Monahan officiating. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery at Olive Branch.
Memorials may be made to Mount Zion Cemetery and will be accepted at the funeral home.
