Charles H. Dunger, 80, of St. Louis died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2006.
He was born Jan. 13, 1926, at Fornfelt, son of William H. and Manda Peetz Dunger. He and Thelma Kinder were married Sept. 17, 1950, at Illmo.
Dunger was employed by Carter Carburetor 34 years.
He served with the Army Combat Engineers during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Charlene Hass of St. Charles, Mo.; three sons, Richard Dunger of St. Louis, James Dunger of Wildwood, Mo., Randy Dunger of O'Fallon, Mo.; three sisters, Ida Dunger of Scott City, Dorothy Drury of Overland, Mo., Shirley Schroeder of Affton, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
The funeral was Aug. 31. Burial was in Jefferson Barracks Cemetery in St. Louis.
