Charles E. Duncan, 83, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Aug. 6, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born June 28,1918, at Gideon, Mo., son of John Morgan and Stella Frances Parks Duncan. He and Mary Sue Sutilef were married June 18, 1941. She died Nov. 16, 1990. He married Opal Pensel Nov. 22, 1991, in Cape Girardeau.
Duncan was service manager with Missouri Illinois Tractor 32 years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Charles Duncan Jr. of Tallmadge, Ohio, John Duncan of Upper Marlboro, Md.; two daughters, Donna Sue Waldrup of Robards, Ky., Betty Harmon of San Antonio, Texas; three stepsons, Ronald Pensel of Battleground, Wash., Tim Pensel of Cape Girardeau, Rob Pensel of Burfordville, Mo.; a brother, Vernal Bratton of Harbor Springs, Mich.; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Douglas Breite officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
