CHARLESTON -- Charles David Collier, 66, of Barlow, Ky., a native of Chaffee, died Friday, June 11, 1993, at his home.
He was born March 19, 1927, at Chaffee, son of Freeman Collier Sr. and Esther Mitchell Collier.
He was a retired farmer.
He was married to Virginia Laxton. She survives.
Other survivors include daughters, Lynda Gant, Barlow, Joyce Collier, Memphis, Tenn., and Sharon Collier, Atlanta, Ga.; sisters Naoma Simmons and Charlotte Schneider, both of Cape Girardeau, Barbara Kehoe, Carrie Trenthan and Helen Holland, all of St. Louis; brothers, Ralph Collier, Lutesville, Glen Collier and Freeman Collier, both of Charleston; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
He was a member of the Kentucky State Conservation Association and Kentucky Game and Fish Commission.
Service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Milner Orr Funeral Home at Charleston, with the Rev. Larry Fraser officiating. Burial will be at Charleston.
Friends may call at the funeral home aftaer 4 p.m. today.
