CHARLES BROWN

ANNA, Ill. -- Graveside service for Charles Brown of Anna will be held at 1 p.m. today at St. John's Cemetery near Dongola, Ill. The Rev. George McCommons will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.

Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home at Anna is in charge of arrangements.

Brown, 64, died Monday, Aug. 7, 2000, at City Care Center.

He was born Feb. 27, 1936, at Mill Creek, Ill., son of Guy and Gertrude McCommons Brown.

Brown was a retired farmer, and member of Mill Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include two brothers, Buck Brown of Jonesboro, Ill., Weldon Brown of Elgin, Ill.; and a friend, Betty Alsip of Anna.
