Charles "Rocky" Bierschwal, 73, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 20, 1944, in Cape Girardeau to Cecil and Margie Webb Bierschwal.
He and Janet Jones were married Nov. 30, 1978, at Jefferson City, Missouri.
Rocky had a passion for music, playing both gospel and country.
He was a member of Perkins Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Bierschwal of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Rhonda Zacharias of Chicago and Token Bierschwal of Cape Girardeau; five sons, Anthony "Tony" Bierschwal of Cape Girardeau, Ray Bierschwal of Cape Girardeau, Travis Beasley of Scopus, Missouri, Todd Beasley of Cape Girardeau, Tasch Bierschwal of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Bonnie Macke of Gordonville, Missouri, and Gracie Dennis of Oran, Missouri; two brothers, Bill (Ruby) Bierschwal of Cape Girardeau, Danny (Carol) Bierschwal of Cape Girardeau; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margie Bierschwal; father, Cecil Bierschwal; and one brother, Forest Bierschwal.
Memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Cape Eagles Aerie 3775 in Cape Girardeau.
