Funeral service for Charles A. Kain, 614 Northview, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Jeffrey Sippy will officiate, with entombment in Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. Friday.
Kain, 58, died Tuesday, June 13, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Beech Grove, Ind.
He was born Oct. 20, 1936, in Cape Girardeau, son of Erhardt A. and Edna Griffin Kain. He and Joyce Swan were married Aug. 18, 1962, in Cape Girardeau.
Kain was a 1954 graduate of the former College High School. He worked 25 years at Central Packing Co. For the past 11 years he owned and operated his own truck and was currently leased to Beel Trucking Co. of St. Libory, Ill.
He was a member of Hanover Lutheran Church and Teamsters Local 574 of Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, David Kain of Cape Girardeau, Bob Kain of Covina, Calif.; two daughters, Darlene Broadbent of Cape Girardeau, Beverly Kain of Blytheville, Ark.; two brothers, Glenn and Dean Kain of Cape Girardeau; five sisters, Virginia Boren, Betty Maevers, Wanda Davidson and Judith Middleton of Cape Girardeau, Brenda McClain of Oran, and three grandchildren.
