CHAD M. KASTEN

ALTENBURG -- Chad M. Kasten, 16, of Altenburg, died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999, at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville.

He was born June 17, 1983, at Cape Girardeau, son of Robert B. and Faye M. Pilz Kasten of Altenburg.

Kasten was a junior at Perryville High School. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Altenburg. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran softball team, Perryville High School baseball and cross country teams and FBLA.

Survivors include his parents; a brother, Eric Kasten of Altenburg; a sister, Brooke Kasten of Altenburg; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Pilz of Frohna and paternal grandmother, Nora Kasten of Altenburg.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers.

Friends may call at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg from 4-8 p.m. today and from 6:30-8:30 a.m. Monday.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Altenburg. The Rev. Charles Weber will officiate, with burial in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Altenburg.
