Cecile Willis

OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Cecile E. Willis, 75, of Olive Branch died Friday, Nov. 10, 2006, at Daystar Care Center in Cairo, Ill.

She was born Jan. 29, 1931, in McClure, Ill., daughter of Roy and Vesta Benefield Hopkins. She and Chesley K. Willis were married May 18, 1947.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Paula Thomas of Miller City, Ill., Nancy Kline of Olive Branch; a son, Mark Willis of Olive Branch; two brothers, Glenn Hopkins of Alton, Ill., Frank Hopkins of Benton, Ill.; a grandson; and a great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, four brothers and a grandson.

Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Verlee Eaker and Gene Hart officiating. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery.
