Obards, 78 years old, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 1991, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.

He was born Sept. 5, 1912, at Puxico, son of Louis and Minnie Glenn Obards. He and the former Delma Ray were married Oct. 10, 1945, at Piggott, Ark.

Obards was a member of St. Joe General Baptist Church at Idalia, Disabled American Veterans, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Louis Obards of Bloomfield, Lynn Obards of Phoenix, Ariz.; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
