PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Cecil Andrew LaBruyere, 84, of Perryville, died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2001, at his home.
He was born Aug. 27, 1916, in Farmington, Mo., son of Harry and Louis Fuchs LaBruyere. His wife, Alma, preceded him in death.
He worked for the St. Louis public school system as an electrician and served with the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include a son, Cecil LaBruyere Jr. of Perryville; two daughters, Betty Deck of Kansas City, Mo., and Janet Egerton of Tucson, Ariz.; a brother, Harry G. LaBruyere of Farmington; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at the Cozean Funeral Home after 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Funeral will be held at the Cozean Memorial Chapel at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Jerald McBride will officiate. Burial will follow at the Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
