JONESBORO, Ill. -- Funeral service for Cecil F. Hickam of Jonesboro will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Alto Pass. The Rev. Bobby Norton will officiate, with burial in Alto Pass Cemetery.

Hickam, 65, died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 1996, at his home.

He was born Sept. 10, 1911, in Alto Pass, son of George Allen and Lumeda Bell McKinney Hickam. He and Anna Rachel Penrod were married June 12, 1936, in Anna. She died Aug. 28, 1979.

Hickam was a retired farmer. He was a member of a Methodist Church in St. Louis.

Survivors include three brothers, Glen Hickam of Murphysboro, Jesse Hickam of Goreville, Norman Hickam of Jonesboro; two sisters, Gladys Smithey of Jonesboro and Juanita Gaddis of Dongola.
