ANNA, Ill. -- Cecil L. Drumm, 77, of Washington, Ill., and formerly of Anna, died Saturday, April 1, 1995, at Washington Christian Village Nursing Home.
He was born July 5, 1917, in Neelys Landing, Mo., the son of Clark and Stella Whiteside Drumm. He married Eloise Smith on Nov. 5, 1946, in Anna. She preceded him in death Nov. 1, 1983.
Drumm was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Anna V.F.W. Post 3455 and the Vienna American Legion Post 536.
Survivors include a son, David Drumm of Washington; two daughters, Vicki Hipsher of Brownstown and Lisa Hackler of Sycamore; three brothers, Earl Drumm of Peoria Heights, Bob Drumm of Mountain Home, Ark., and Jack Drumm of Creve Coeur; two sisters, Ruth Jackson of Sunnyland and Lucille Campbell of East Peoria; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna, where funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Paul Sadler will officiate, and burial will be in the Anna Cemetery with full military honors by Anna V.F.W. Post 3455.
