Cecil D. Schatte, 92, of 3120 Independence, died Saturday, Oct. 4, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born May 27, 1900, at Oriole, to John W. and Nancy Reynolds Noland.
On April 24, 1918, she married Walter H. Schatte in Jackson. He preceded her in death on Oct. 28, 1932.
She was a member of the Maple Avenue United Methodist Church of Cape Girardeau, and a member of the church women's group.
Survivors include four daughters, Sue Dillow of Jackson, Anna Jane Barr of Fullerton, Calif., Betty Jo Wilson of Santa Fe, N.M., and Gloria Esicar of Cape Girardeau. Nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild also survive.
Friends may call today, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., today, at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel, with the Rev. Jim Dace and the Rev. Jamie Barr officiating. Burial will be in McLain's Chapel Cemetery, near Oriole.
