ORAN -- Catherine Schott, 76, Oran Route 1, died Thursday, Oct. 3, 1991, at her home. She was born Feb. 6, 1915, at Kelso, daughter of Louis and Catherine Heisserer Burger. ORAN -- Catherine Schott, 76, Oran Route 1, died Thursday, Oct. 3, 1991, at her home.

She was born Feb. 6, 1915, at Kelso, daughter of Louis and Catherine Heisserer Burger. She married John Schott May 14, 1935.

Schott was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church and St. Ann's Sodality, Oran Senior Citizens Club, and Oran KCetts Council 4311.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, A.J. Schott of Kelso, Melvin Schott of New Hamburg, John Schott Jr. of Oran; a daughter, Betty DeBrock, Chaffee Route 2; four sisters, Mary McSwain of Scott City, Anna Dirnberger and Vernetta Scherer of Kelso, Stella Hahn of Cape Girardeau; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and five great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and five sisters.

Funeral mass will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Guardian Angel Church. The Rev. Normand Varone will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home after 3 p.m. today. The parish rosary will be at 6:30 p.m., and KC prayer service at 7.
