LEOPOLD, Mo. -- Catherine Marie Elfrink, 81, of Leopold died Sunday, March 28, 2004, at her home.
She was born May 5, 1922, at Leopold, daughter of Henry G. and Barbara M. Hinkebein Seesing. She and Albert Joseph Elfrink were married Feb. 26, 1946, at Leopold.
Elfrink was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and St. Ann's Sodality. She had baked and decorated cakes in her home about 30 years.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Delwin Elfrink of Cape Girardeau, Floyd Elfrink of Italy, Texas; two daughters, Sandra Beussink of Leopold, Shirley Brotherton of Marble Hill, Mo.; a brother, John Seesing of Cape Girardeau; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant son and a sister.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Parish prayers and Knights of Columbus rosary will be at 7.
The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Bill Huggins officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
