CASSANDRA JONES

Cassandra Jones, 21, of Cape Girardeau, died Monday, July 1, 1996, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born March 18, 1975, in Kansas City, daughter of Dianna Gilliam Carter and Raymond Jones.

Jones attended Egyptian High School in Tamms, Ill., and was a 1993 graduate of Central High School. She had worked at Sears until becoming ill.

Survivors include her mother of Cape Girardeau; her father of Kansas City; a brother, Raymond Jones; a sister, Angela Jones, both of Cape Girardeau; maternal grandmother, Mahala Gilliam of Cape Girardeau, and paternal grandmother, May Jones of Kansas City.

Friends may call at Second Missionary Baptist Church from 6-8 p.m. Saturday.

Funeral service will be at the church at 2 p.m. Sunday, with the Rev. Wiley Reed officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.

Algee Funeral Home of Cairo is in charge of arrangements.
