SIKESTON -- Carrie Elizabeth Miller, 82, of Sikeston died Thursday, Dec. 21, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Feb. 24, 1913, in Malden to Robert E. and Ida E. Laster Williams. She married Adolph Miller Sr. on Dec. 23, 1933, at Malden.
She was a housewife and a member of the North Acres General Baptist Church in Sikeston.
Survivors include her husband; a son, C.A. Miller Jr. of Malden; two daughters, Patricia Gail Dabbs of Memphis, Tenn., and Shelia Hawkins of Sikeston; a sister, Ruth Graves of Albuquerque, N.M.; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters.
Visitation is today from 5 to 8 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. James Trotter officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Cemetery at Malden.
