SIKESTON -- Carrie B. Aaron, 89, of Sikeston, formerly of Mississippi County, died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 1995, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center. She was born July 2, 1905, in Hardin, Ky., daughter of Dennis Hartley and Molly Criswell Brindley. In 1921, she married John Ellis Aaron, who preceded her in death April 5, 1974...

SIKESTON -- Carrie B. Aaron, 89, of Sikeston, formerly of Mississippi County, died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 1995, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center.

She was born July 2, 1905, in Hardin, Ky., daughter of Dennis Hartley and Molly Criswell Brindley. In 1921, she married John Ellis Aaron, who preceded her in death April 5, 1974.

Aaron had lived in Sikeston for several years. She was a member of Murray Lane Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, James Edward Aaron of Anderson, Ind.; two daughters, Juanita Cathey of Sikeston, Dorothy Jean Mayo of Waterloo, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Friday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
