Carolyn Porche

Carolyn Joan Porche, 69, of Jackson passed away Friday, June 29, 2012, at Jackson Manor.

She was born Jan. 18, 1943, in Sikeston, Mo., to James David and Saphrey Juanita Pruitt Crawford. Carolyn married Carlton Joseph Porche on June 12, 1965, in Hinesville, Ga.

Survivors other than her husband include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Randy and Pamela Porche of Loveland, Colo., Carlton Porche Jr. of Jackson, Danny and Shannon Porche of Houma, La.; a daughter, Ronda and Jeff Bull of Houma; two brothers, George Crawford of Sikeston, Danny Crawford of Kennett, Mo.; four sisters, Dorthy Florence, Linda Cole, Ruthann Jefferies and Juanita Robinson, all of Sikeston; nine grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Joshua, Kamren, Konner, Karson, Kolton, Jeffery, Ashley and Lindsey; and a host of relatives and many friends.

Two brothers, Jimmy and Ray Crawford; and a sister, Ellen Greenlee, preceded Carolyn in death.

Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. today at Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie, Mo., with David Israll officiating.

Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie is in charge of arrangements.
