CAROLYN G. COFFER

SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Carolyn Gail Coffer of Sikeston will be held at 11 a.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel in East Prairie. The Rev. Raymond Hannah will officiate, with burial in Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.

Coffer, 46, died Monday, Jan. 11, 1993.

She was born Oct. 21, 1946, in Mississippi County, daughter of Virgil B. and Katie Ann Ivie Thornton.

Coffer was employed at the Elks Lodge in Sikeston, and was a member of Diehlstadt General Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Samuel Howard of Sikeston; two daughters, Lee Ann Seyer and Michelle Coffer of Cape Girardeau; her mother, Katie Greer of Sikeston; a brother, Bill Thornton of East Prairie; a sister, Bernice Poole of Sikeston, and four grandsons.

She was preceded in death by a brother.
