PERRYVILLE -- Carole B. Winschel, 56, of Eolia, formerly of Perryville, died Friday, July 11, 1997, at St. John's Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born Dec. 10, 1940, in Perry County, daughter of Leo Anton and Christine Baer Winschel.

Winschel was a secretary.

Survivors include six sisters, Ellinor Miederhoff of Perryville; Harriet Schnurbusch, Gladys Schnurbusch, Delphine Geringer, all of St. Louis County, Constance Cook of Skokie, Ill., Kathleen Bates of Auxvasse; and a brother, Eugene Winschel of St. Louis County.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial mass will be held later, with burial in St. Joseph Church Cemetery at Apple Creek.

Miller Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
