FROHNA, Mo. -- Carole A. Ruehling, 73, of Frohna died Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at Chateau Girardeau in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Dec. 31, 1944, in Waterloo, Iowa, daughter of Edgar and Lucille Moeller Mueller. She and Erlis V. Ruehling married April 25, 1964. He preceded her in death Aug. 9, 2014.
Carole first worked in the medical field and later at West End in Frohna.
She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church and Lutheran Women's Missionary League in Frohna.
Survivors include a son, Jody (fiance Wendy Humerickhouse) Ruehling of Murphysboro, Illinois; a daughter, Stephanie (Terry) Bryan of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Donald (Sue) Mueller of Maple Lake, Montana; two grandsons, Wyatt Ruehling and Bo Bryan; and two stepgrandsons, Kyle and Clay Humerickhouse.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 6:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Rod Benkendorf officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to Concordia Lutheran Church or the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.
