Carol Keppler

Carol Ann Keppler, 78, of Scott City died Saturday, July 31, 2021, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 21, 1942, in St. Louis to Edgar F. and Ann Paur Stevenson. She married Charles Keppler on Aug, 7, 1978.

She was a volunteer coordinator for Southeast Hospice. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City and Scott City Historical Society.

Carol is survived by her husband, Chuck Keppler; two sons, John and Robert Arendt; a daughter, Lori Kanaman; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Gary Stevenson.

Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent's Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Rick Jones as celebrant.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
