DONGOLA, Ill. -- Carmon Anglin, 62, of Dongola died Friday, Sept. 10, 2004, at his home. He was born Aug. 3, 1942, in Thebes, Ill., son of Elmer and Marie Bailey Anglin. He and Virginia Fox were married March 9, 1968. DONGOLA, Ill. -- Carmon Anglin, 62, of Dongola died Friday, Sept. 10, 2004, at his home.

He was born Aug. 3, 1942, in Thebes, Ill., son of Elmer and Marie Bailey Anglin. He and Virginia Fox were married March 9, 1968.

He was a member of Jesus Name Pentecostal Church in Tamms, Ill., and had worked at Cheek's Shell, American Limestone and Main Brothers in Karnak, Ill.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Melissa Anglin of Dongola; a brother, Clyde Anglin of Delta, Mo.; a sister, Hattie Matlock of Vienna, Ill.; and a granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, twin granddaughters, three sisters and three brothers.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and before the funeral Tuesday at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Jenell Brookhouse and Glenn Fox officiating.

Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Thebes.
