CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Carmelita Little Rolwing, 90, of Charleston died Friday, Aug. 10, 2007, at Charleston Manor.
She was born July 15, 1917, in Lincoln County, Mo., to the late Rupert and Catherine White Little. She moved to Mississippi County with her father and brother in 1932. On Aug. 9, 1941, she married Norbert Rolwing, who survives of the home in Charleston.
Survivors include four sons, Joseph (Dianne) Rolwing of Nashville, Tenn., Otto Stephen Rolwing of Prescott, Ariz., Ron (Jeanne) Rolwing of Charleston, Jerry Rolwing of Borrego Springs, Calif.; three daughters, Betty (Carl) Darnell of Taylorsville, Ken., Mary (Charles) Golden of Montgomery, Ala., Judy (Jim) Porter of Moore, Okla.; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Harold Little, and her sister, Regina Little.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13, 2007, at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday evening.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007, at the St. Henry Catholic Church in Charleston with Monsignor Richard Rolwing, senior priest in residence, serving as celebrant.
Interment will follow in the Texas Bend Cemetery, north of Charleston under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home.
