Carmel Cherry, 83, formerly of Boca Raton, Fla., died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2007, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Aug. 31, 1924, in San Salvador, El Salvador, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mariano Campos.
Cherry was a longtime resident of Boca Raton, where she provided in-home care for private residents.
Survivors include three sons, Don Cherry of Lawton, Okla., John Cherry of Cape Girardeau, Patrick Cherry of Grass Valley, Calif.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a great-stepgrandchild.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
A private graveside service will be held.
McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau is in charge of arrangements.
