CHARLESTON -- Carman C. McKinley, 61, of Charleston died Monday, Aug. 18, 1997, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born April 27, 1936, at Bertrand, son of Walter C. and Sarah Christine Collier McKinley. He married Shirley Ann Siggers, who died Aug. 7, 1992.
McKinley was a grain inspector with FGIS. He lived in New Orleans, Kansas City, and Savannah, Ga., retiring in 1993. He returned to Charleston in 1995. He served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors are a son, Carman McKinley II of Charleston; a daughter, Chrissy McKinley of Charleston; and a brother, Charles McKinley of Bertrand.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. Rick White will officiate.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 p.m. to service time.
