JONESBORO, Ill. -- Carlista Crain Pitts, 64, of Jonesboro died Monday, July 20, 1998, at her home.

She was born July 14, 1934, in Anna, daughter of Lowell and Wanda Watkins Corbit. She and John C. Pitts were married Feb. 27, 1954.

Pitts was a member of Saratoga Church.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Artenia Jones of Anna; a son, Shaun Pitts of Jonesboro; two sisters, Yvonne Graham of Anna, Elaine Edwards of St. Louis; and four grandchildren.

Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home after 5 p.m. Thursday.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with David Nave officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Hall Cemetery.
