Carla Seckel, 62, of Scott City died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2006, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born April 19, 1944, at Dexter, Mo., daughter of Dorothy Gaines. She and Paul Seckel were married July 25, 1970, in Cuba, Mo.
Seckel had been employed by Cotton Belt Railroad as a cook.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Sandi Roberts of Scott City; two sons, Tom and Paul Morgan of Benton, Mo.; four sisters, Pauletta Edwards of St. Louis, Shirley Radcliff of Michigan, Sharon Fodo of Foristell, Sandra Breeden of Old Monroe, Mo.; a brother, Loyd Gaines of Dexter, Mo.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
A graveside service will be held at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield at a later date.
Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
