Carla Jean Knotts, 63, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016, at Saint Louis University Hospital.
She was born Dec. 10, 1953, in Cape Girardeau to the late Carlos "Bud" and Velma Jean Stady Burns.
Carla worked in sales at the Cape Girardeau Wal-Mart for several years.
Survivors include her son, Eric Quick (Samatha Whittle) of Jackson; a grandson, Clyde Holderbaugh; aunts, Thelma Eaker of Marble Hill, Missouri, and her children, Bob Eaker and David (Marie) Eaker, and Betty Ingram of Jackson; uncle, Frank (Joan) Burns of Jackson and his children, Victor (Carolyn) Burns, Todd (Teresa) Burns and Lynn (Doug) Schreiner; other first cousins, Susan (Dr. Steven) Smith of Temple, Texas, Martha (Kurt) Hilderbrant, Mary (Vernon) Smith and Mark (Sarah) Nussbaum.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Curtis Burns; aunts and their husbands, Roselee (Rudy) Nussbaum and Doris (Gus) Bollinger; and four uncles, Wayne and Roger Stady, Bud Eaker and Louis Ingram.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time Saturday at Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Jackson.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Dr. Grant F.C. Gillard officiating.
