Carla C. James, 59, of Jackson passed away Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015, at her home.
She was born May 15, 1956, to Roy "Mann" E. and Mary Louise Grimes James.
She attended Jackson High School and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Loving survivors include four daughters, Stacy "Nicky" Heider and children Paige, Melinda and Jazsmyn of Cape Girardeau, Michelle (Bradley) Rosa and children Abigail, Bradley and William of O'Fallon, Missouri, Jenny (Levi) Kester and son Collin "Keith" of Jackson and Christina (Matthew) Ernst and children, Haileigh, Caitlyn, Matthew, Reagan and Allysen of Friedheim; four siblings: Sheila (Mack) Young of Wood River, Illinois, Marty (Joyce) Aldrich of O'Fallon, Manuel James of Springfield, Illinois, and Frankie James of Cape Girardeau; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved canine friend, Toby.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Patricia Moore and Pamela Reisenbichler.
Visitation will be from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jr. Davis officiating. Burial will be at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
