ADVANCE -- Funeral service for Carl W.J. Cole will be at 10 a.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. The Rev. John Tolbert will officiate and burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery near Advance.

Cole, 75, died Friday, Nov. 10, 1995, at Advance Nursing Center in Advance.

He was born Dec. 18, 1919, at Steelville, son of Claude and Annie Medley Cole. He married Isabelle Proffer.

He was employed by Semis Bag Co. in St. Louis until his retirement.

Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Norma Lee Jackson of St. Louis, five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a sister.
