JACKSON -- Carl George Wilhelm, 69, of Jackson, died Thursday, Feb. 15, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Nov. 22, 1926, in Jackson, son of Willie and Myrtle Schweer Wilhelm.
Wilhelm was a self-employed carpenter. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ at Fruitland, its church board, and repair and maintenance board. He also was a member of Altenthal-Joerns American Legion Post 158, and had been a leader with the former Brookside 4-H Club. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include a brother, Jerry Wilhelm of Valley Park; two sisters, June Kutscher of Festus and Irene Cadwell of St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. John's Church. The Rev. David Schaffner will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
