VILLA RIDGE, Ill. -- Carl Edward Rudolph, 64, of Lake Station, Ind., formerly of Mound City, Ill., died Thursday, March 9, 2000, at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.

He was born Jan. 26, 1936, in Mound City, son of Jack and Bernice Sowers Rudolph.

Survivors include his mother, of Mounds; three daughters, Mandy Westphal of Knoxville, Tenn., Lisa Cook of Hendersonville, Tenn., and Sherry Van-Ek of Thornton; one son, Kevin Rudolph of California; one sister, Sheila Winland of Mounds; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Reese Funeral Home in Hobart, Ind. Interment will follow there.
